Sydney Dry and Imbroglio: Negroni

The most widely reported version of this drink's origin is that it was invented at Caffe Casoni in Florence, Italy in 1919. Legend tells that Count Camillo Negroni asked his friend (bartender) to strengthen his favourite cocktail the Americano by replacing soda water with gin.

Ingredients:

30ml x Poor Toms Sydney Dry Gin
30ml x Poor Toms Imbroglio
30ml x Sweet Vermouth

Method

1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass
2. Add plenty of ice and stir to add dilution and chill
3. Strain into a short glass with an ice block
4. Garnish with an orange twist.
